Welcome (or welcome back) to what we humbly believe is the most comprehensive information about "Disney Forever" on the Web.
WHAT IS "DISNEY FOREVER?" This product offering by The Walt Disney Company (made available in Fall 1998 in Disneyland and January 1999 in Walt Disney World) offers the Park Music Collector the opportunity to select, via a kiosk touchscreen, up to ten selections from a vast array of both current and retired attraction, parade, and show soundtracks, sound effects and area musics, all for around $20.00 per disk.
WHY IS THIS SITE HERE? Simply because we think "Disney Forever" is a Park Music Lovers dream come true. Now literally hundreds of pieces of music, spiels (narration), and other sounds from the parks themselves are being made available to the public for purchase, in a way that allows the customer to choose just the selections they want. What better souvenir of a park visit could there be than the sounds from your favorite attractions on CD?
But Disney isn't releasing "official" lists of the selections offered, so it's up to us Park Music Fans to do it! We felt there needed to be a place on the web that would serve as a primary resource for selection listings. At the same time, we also wanted to extensively annotate the lists, providing comprehensive information about the various selections and their history. That's what we've tried to accomplish, and what this site is dedicated to.
Here you will find "unofficial and unauthorized" heavily annotated copies of the "Disneyland Forever" and "Walt Disney World Forever" kiosk selection lists, revised on a regular basis. We also have "short lists" (without annotations) that you can use to plan your purchases, and a "master list" of all the selections on the entire system, both current and deleted, to help keep track of your collection. Plus more.
